Discreet & Dementia-Friendly Design

Unlike traditional mats, the Deluxe Alertamat features a genuine carpet finish available in 5 colours (Red, Blue, Grey, Beige, and Rust). This allows it to blend with existing flooring and reduce the likelihood of a dementia user actively avoiding the mat. The large size of 60cm x 90cm also helps to prevent overstepping, ensuring a reliable alarm is activated when a user leaves their safe zone at the bedside or doorway.

Advanced Safety & Versatile Functionality

The mat is a crucial tool for fall prevention, activating a prompt alert the moment a user steps onto it. For maximum versatility, it can be connected to a central Nurse Call System with the provided 3-metre cable for a coordinated response. Alternatively, it can be used on its own with the Alerta Alarm Monitor (sold separately) for localised alerts. A key safety feature is the breakaway cable, which helps to reduce trip hazards and prevents damage to the mat and the nurse call system. The Genuine Non-Slip Base ensures the mat stays securely in place on the floor.

Innovative 'Y' Cable Technology

A unique and highly practical feature of the Deluxe Alertamat is its built-in "Y" cable. This clever design provides a spare socket, allowing another compatible Alerta device (e.g., a bed sensor mat) to be connected to the same mat. This enables caregivers to monitor two areas of risk using a single nurse call point, streamlining the system and optimising the use of a limited number of nurse call ports.
