This system is designed around ease of patient movement and carer safety:

• Dual Satin Mechanism: The Fitted Sheet has high-friction sides for stability but a central satin panel (150cm x 70cm on single) for smooth gliding. The accompanying Draw Sheet has a satin underside, creating the required low-friction surface when placed over the fitted sheet.

• Reduced Carer Strain: The ability to turn/roll or move the patient up or down the bed without direct, heavy lifting significantly takes the strain off the carer’s back, promoting safe moving and handling procedures.

• Anti-Pressure Practice: Because the system is permanently in place, it ensures regular turning (essential for anti-pressure practice) is never skipped due to searching for equipment. The long (2metre) draw sheet can be firmly tucked in for readiness.
