The foam centre provides a supportive core, while the top layer of castellated gel memory foam is engineered for ultimate pressure redistribution. The gel-infused foam not only conforms precisely to the user's body shape, enveloping pressure points, but also helps to regulate temperature, a critical factor in managing skin integrity for very high-risk individuals. The cushion is suitable for users with a Min Load of 40kg and a robust Max Load of 150kg.

Engineered for Superior Hygiene & Safety

For enhanced infection control and user safety, the cushion is fitted with a premium multi-stretch PU cover. The cover is both water resistant and vapour permeable, which allows moisture vapour to escape while preventing fluid ingress, helping to maintain a healthy skin microclimate. The cover is also antimicrobial and machine washable. The entire system is manufactured to the highest standards, meeting the BS7177: Crib 5 fire standard.

Practicality & Easy Maintenance

The Alerta Sensaflex 300 is designed for easy and efficient maintenance in a clinical setting. The cover can be machine washed at 65°C for no less than 10 minutes or 95°C for no less than 3 minutes. It is also safe to tumble dry on low heat, not exceeding 60°C. For deep sterilisation, the foam itself can be autoclaved at 134°C, ensuring optimal hygiene and long-term use.
